Over 15 years of financial structuring and management experience as a banker and corporate finance specialist, including 8 years in international and emerging markets. Expertise in project finance, CDO/asset backed structuring, structured finance, and energy lending. Experience with numerous industries, including paper and pulp, cogeneration, oil gas exploration, mining, pipelines, and manufacturing Rob has lead major financial transactions both as a lender and a corporate borrower. From the corporate side he has supervised the arrangement of large syndicated commercial bank loans and dealt with institutional investors for 144A and equity offerings. He has significant experience working with rating agencies and Multilateral Lending Agencies, including OPIC, EXIM, CAF, IADB, and the IFC, and experience with derivatives such as interest rate and currency swaps. He has acted as a financial advisor to numerous joint ventures and consortiums for acquisitions, international competitive bids, and structuring agreements for developmental stage projects. Substantial experience in structuring and negotiating construction contracts, supply and off-take agreements, partnership agreements, loan and security documents, and guarantees. Previously, he worked as a small business consultant, and he was formerly on the board of the Bay Area Habitat for Humanity and advised them on banking, budgeting, cash flow management, and land acquisition.
